Swim England Launched

By | April 25, 2017

From 3rd April this year, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) is using a new name, Swim England.

Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England.  It helps people learn to swim, enjoy the water safely and compete in all aquatic sports, such as diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.  Swim England’s vision is a nation swimming and it strives to inspire everyone to enjoy the water in the way that suits them.

Helen’s Swimming School will continue to provide lessons following the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.  There have been some small changes to some of the awards so we will be altering the content of our lessons slightly to make sure our children meet the standards necessary to achieve these awards.  Class levels within the Swim School will remain unchanged.

As it takes time to update all our logos and paperwork, full details of the awards will be updated in our Information Books and on our website in due course.
