H2O Swim School To Take Over Mayfield Lessons

By | June 27, 2017

Helen’s Swimming School teacher Venetia Self, is to take over the running of all the Mayfield lessons from September 2017 under the name of H2O Swim School.

Venetia has been working with Helen’s Swimming School for over 12 years and has a great deal of experience teaching at all levels.  She has recently been teaching children in the pre-school and beginners’ classes and she will continue to work with our younger children, however, she will now also be running her own swim school at Mayfield.

Helen said:  “The aim has been to reduce my work load but also, importantly, to ensure that lesson continuity is maintained.  I believe that this has been achieved with Venetia Self taking on the Mayfield pupils at H2O Swim School.”

Helen’s Swimming School will work closely with Venetia to ensure continuity for all our swimmers with the lesson content remaining unchanged.  All the teachers at Mayfield will remain the same and the lessons will continue to run in line with both Swim England and the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA).

As Mayfield is a 25 metre pool with a deep end, lessons here are an important stage of children’s swimming development.  The Teachers are committed to making sure all children are confident and safe swimming in deep water.   The deeper water also provides the opportunity for children to learn other skills that will help them to move on to other water sports.  Our very popular Rookie Lifeguard classes will continue to run with Paula at H2O Swim School.

Please be assured that this change should not affect your children’s swimming lessons.  H2O Swim School is committed to providing high quality, value for money lessons and we wish Venetia every success in her new venture.
