BAD WEATHER & POOL CLOSURES
In the event of a pool closure every effort is made to contact all our customers. Occasionally, the swimming school is not told until late and we are unable to contact customers before they leave home, however, please make sure we are kept informed of any changes to telephone numbers and we will do our best to contact you. 
In the event of bad weather (i.e. snow) it is impossible for us to contact all 900 customers, therefore please check our website for information.  All pool closures are added to the website as soon as possible.

QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS
Thank you to all our customers who completed the recent questionnaire.  The results have proved interesting and your comments are very helpful for our future planning.  Here are just some of the results we have found.

We are delighted that 99% of respondents described our standard of teaching as above average and 93% described their child’s progress as good or excellent.

The transition from one pool to another is running smoothly with over 92% agreeing that their child transferred well or OK. 

Over 98% of customers like to receive a written report each term and over 92% of children like to achieve a badge.

With regards to one lesson being given over to a “fun” session each term, our customers were split.  45% would like a fun session but 37% did not and many were not sure.  Of the 45%, many commented that they would only like a few minutes given over to a fun element rather than a whole lesson and that this should be constructive.  When planning lessons, our teachers do try to include some fun elements into the lessons and we will be discussing this further at a staff meeting.  It should be noted however that the questionnaire highlighted that over 95% of children are enjoying their lessons.

Very few people were aware of what our Swim 21 accreditation means.  Swim 21 is a scheme run by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and means that our swimming school is rigorously assessed on a regular basis.  The award signifies that the swimming school provides ‘quality tuition’ and ‘delivery of best value service’. We are the only swimming school in the area to have Swim 21 accreditation.
